About Brash Consulting

Brash Consulting is a boutique consulting practice in organisational psychology and organisation development. Founded in 1996 by its principal Leanne Faraday-Brash, the organisation has gone on to become a highly respected provider of exceptional quality services in people support with a prestigious client list both here and overseas.

We provide specialist advice, consulting services, training, facilitation and case management support (see Services for details). Brash Consulting is unique in the marketplace with our extensive experience in the disciplines of leadership and management development, organisational psychology, organisation development and workplace justice.

What is Workplace Justice?

We have used this term to refer to the whole gamut of legal compliance issues that dramatically affect people's safety and wellbeing in the workplace. This encompasses Equity and Diversity, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), harassment, victimisation, bullying, unfair dismissals and occupational stress.

Great culture and great leadership are critical to an organisation's capacity to achieve its strategic objectives. In its broadest sense, workplace justice also includes leadership and management as manager and leader capability will significantly impact any organisation's ability to retain talented staff, as well as people's motivation, safety, morale, job satisfaction, and ability to cope with change. Brash Consulting works in those areas designed to improve the workplace climate for all employees.

Our Values

Brash Consulting has built its reputation on honesty, ethics, excellence, responsiveness, creation of true value and a strong partnership focus with our clients. Our values and therefore our signature can be summarised as Professionalism, Partnership, Passion and Purpose.

Our Associates

With the additional capability of a range of handpicked associates, Brash Consulting provides consulting, facilitation, training, mediation, case management and independent investigation services in relation to a range of workplace issues that significantly impact work climate, performance and the attainment of business objectives. This enables us to facilitate with deep expertise and run large scale events e.g. search conferences and team events.

Our Consulting Approach

In keeping with sound and ethical consulting practice and in a sincere desire to meet and exceed client expectations we will always:

  • Identify and agree clearly and explicitly who are the client and other stakeholders
  • Clarify the audience for our reports before investigations are launched
  • Include findings and practical incisive recommendations
  • Provide supplementary findings/reports around workplace culture, work styles and contextual issues if these appear to be creating or exacerbating workplace tensions
  • Keep clients well informed of progress and hurdles.

We pride ourselves on ensuring we explore and understand the context in which our client organisations operate. We take a practical approach to our support of them so they can thrive in that operating environment.
